If you ask us, a 10-year reunion of Tina Fey's hit comedy would be so fetch...

Mean Girls turns 10 years old this year - which means it just might be time for a reunion.

Lindsay Lohan, the star of the cult-classic film, stopped by Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show last week to dish about the possibility of getting the old gang back together.

It turns out Lindsay is all for a Mean Girls reunion, and the film's creator Tina Fey may be up for it, too.

'I saw Tina and she mentioned doing some sort of Mean Girls reunion. It would be amazing.

And apparently the reunion talk isn't just wishful thinking. 'She said she spoke to Lorne [Michaels] about it, so she's talking to the big boss,' Lindsay said.

'Tina, this is important. This needs to happen.'

Tina has yet to comment - but TMZ reports that she has, in fact, been working on getting the cast together for months. But before you get too excited, we're not talking about a full-on sequel here. Instead, it seems the reunion would take place in the form of a comedy sketch - possibly on an awards show.

TMZ also reports that Tina already has some of the cast members on board, including her BFF Amy Poehler, as well as Jonathan Bennett (Aaron Samuels), Rajiv Surendra (Kevin Gnapoor) and Daniel Franzese (Damian).

Lacey Chabert also told Entertainment Weekly recently that she loves the idea of reprising her character, Gretchen Weiners.

Of course, the two actresses we haven't mentioned are two of the cast's biggest stars: Rachel McAdams and Amanda Seyfried. Once they're on board, then we'll really believe this thing is happening.
