But, she may have actually just been in an Uber pool...

Ah, Uber.

We all have funny/strange tales to tell, including weird things left in Uber and trending stories on social media that grip the world (um, hello #uberbae and diary of an Uber driver) but have you ever had a scary Uber experience?

Actress Busy Philipps (who also happens to be Michelle Williams' BFF since their Dawson's Creek days) had a pretty bizarre experience in an Uber this weekend which she took to Instagram Stories, naturally.

When her and her screenwriter husband Mark Silverstein took an Uber home on Saturday, things got weird.

'The craziest thing just happened to me and I feel like I need to share it with you. I was almost murdered by a random dude in an Uber,' Busy starts.

'I tried to call an Uber with my husband. We got into this Uber. The guy was really weird. I said to my husband ‘That guy was weird, are you sure he’s not going to kill us?’ And from the back this voice is like, ‘I promise that won’t happen.’ And there was this scary dude in the way back of this Uber.'

'I was like, ‘No, that’s not happening. I won’t be killed tonight. I started screaming at this freaking creepy Uber driver. I started screaming; ‘I will not be killed today!’ I legitimately was screaming.'

She then goes on to explain that she was shouting that they were parents: 'That’s the worst part,' she continues, 'He was like, ‘They’re parents, we shouldn’t kill them.’ It was so terrible.'

Her husband adds: 'It was the weirdest thing that ever happened. You were like, ‘We’re going to die in this Uber.'

The pair then come to the conclusion that perhaps the driver had just received two requests at once and that was 'why there was a weirdo in the back.'

Busy quite literally cracks herself up over this story and concludes with: 'I’m not trying to be alarmist but I definitely feel like those guys were trying to murder me tonight. I legitimately feel that way. It was really scary. I’m done with Uber. Never again.'
