Lancome announces new face of foundation

A new face is emerging in beauty land, and this time it breaks the mould.
The first Muslim model ever to be signed to Lancome, Hanaa Ben Abdesslem, has today been revealed as the face of Teint Idole Ultra 24H – the latest generation of 1999’s Teint Idole Hydra Compact.
The teetotal 22 year-old is a model on a mission. Thanking a 'lucky star' for her own success, Hanaa wants greater respect for the modelling profession in her Arab homeland.
The foundation is similarly groundbreaking. Of the 18 shades on offer, 8 have been developed specifically with the 'Women of Colour' association, which began in 2005 as a reaction to the limited proportion of women who are able to perfectly colour-match their skin to a foundation shade.
Foundation with a heart? What’s not to love..
Lancome TI Ultra 24H is £27 and available nationwide.
