Drew Barrymore has ditched her honey-hued locks for a fiery new look - switching to a rich red hair colour just this week.

The starlet stepped out last night and revealed the auburn shade for the very first time, although she's chosen to keep her tresses the same shoulder-skimming length with signature soft wave.

No stranger to a spot of hair experimentation, Drew has dyed her 'do everything from platinum to rich chocolate, but this is the furthest she's dared to go down the scarlet spectrum.

It's not her color, she's a much better looking blood, all over, not half brown and half blond. And she needs lipstick either way she goes. Her lips blend into her face. No attractive, I don't care what's in fashion.

I love it! I am a golden blonde and I dye my hair red every autumn. It makes my blue eyes pop and goes well with autumn colors. I think it really makes her face stand out more. She's always gorgeous but I really like this look for her.
