Sandra Bullock hair makeover for new movie Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close

Sandra Bullock is no stranger to a movie makeover - remember her blonde moment for The Blind Side? - and she's done it again, sporting a lighter, curly 'do while filming new flick, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close in New York.

But is it a case of hair today, gone tomorrow?

It is unclear whether Sandy has hit the dye bottle or is simply wearing a wig for the role - the new look certainly pales in comparison to her signature glossy dark mane.

The Oscar-winning actress is busy shooting the movie alongside Tom Hanks, which is based on Jonathan Safran Foer's acclaimed novel. It marks her return to work after an 18-month hiatus, in which she adopted her son Louis and divorced husband Jesse James.

Looks like someone split an old 1950s mattress open and the contents spilled out..guessing from that coat in pic..which Im sure she wouldnt wear...its a film part ..Please!!!!

I think she looks lovely with the lighter hair, but I'm quite sure it's a wig. It just doesn't sit quite natural, but I like how it looks on her.

I liked her with her dark brown hair in miss congeniality.
