Love or hate? Sandra Bullock's blunt new fringe

By Lucy Hutchings  on Tuesday 18 January 2011

Sandra Bullock debuts new blunt fringe at 2011 Golden Globes

It's been a while since we've spotted the gorgeous Sandra Bullock on the red carpet, but the starlet was back for this year's Golden Globes, with a whole new look!

Stepping out at Sunday's glittering ceremony - her first big Hollywood outing since last year's Oscars - Sandy debuted a heavy fringe, which she's recently added to her glossy poker straight mane.

Wearing a romantic Jenny Packham dusty pink gown, the lading lady's dramatic new 'do proved quite the contrast to her feminine styling.

So there's the evidence, now we want your opinions! Do you love Sandra's new eye-skimming fringe, or do you prefer her 'do without? Let us know your thoughts in the comments box below.

Awful! Far too heavy. She's got such a pretty face - why hide it?!
Comment by Katie on January 18 11:43

it's a little heavy but I do think it makes her look younger, which is always a bonus.
Comment by lisa on January 18 12:02

Love or hate? HATE.
Comment by Me on January 18 12:25

The fringes are bit too long..Makes her look younger though..and draws attention to her eyes somehow..

Comment by D on January 18 12:58

She does look younger, together with her nude makeup. But I much prefer her in the other pic, much more glamorous and fresh!
Comment by sharon on January 18 13:01

LOVE it - it takes years off her!!
Comment by Samantha on January 18 13:01

Love it, makes her look younger and more feminine
Comment by Irena on January 18 13:04

I love it, very sixties look, and it does emphasise her eyes beautifully, she has such gorgeous hair. Definitely looks younger too and a bit less 'done up'.
Comment by Helen Gough on January 18 13:12

Love it so so much. If I looked as good as Sandra I'd die a happy woman!
Comment by Beverley on January 18 13:26

She looks fantastic with it, like the love child of Lily Allen and Claudia Winkleman.

(Yeah, it's impossible, but I'm a bloke and I can dream...)
Comment by Dude on January 18 14:15

No...just awful...she has such a pretty face which is just hidden...aren't fringes a bit about 4 years ago!?
Comment by Maria on January 18 14:16

Younger? I think it makes her look older and tired. Loved it before.
Comment by Vivi on January 18 15:05

I think it looks great!! Softens her face and takes years off her!!
Comment by kaya on January 18 15:25

Sometimes is really good and necessary to change the LOOK radically.
Comment by Solange Vasconcelos on January 18 15:51

LOVE IT!! I have the exact same style, had it done a month ago, it's such a flattering and versatile cut, plus you can't help but feel a little bit sexy with the lash-skimming fringe! She looks amazing!
Comment by Kaz on January 18 16:29

Comment by rw on January 18 17:26

Comment by Zoe on January 18 17:58

she always looked better with a fringe, younger, bring back the style she had in speed so much nicer than that drab long hair(whixh now looks like extensions!
Comment by kate on January 18 18:08

She looks more edgy, younger perhaps. Suits her!
Comment by Lynsay on January 18 18:36

I think she look but then I think she always looks great.
Comment by Janis on January 18 18:59

I think the fringe is fabulous! frames her face beautifully and takes 15 years off her. I want a fringe now, but don't think my hairdresser could make my hair look that good sadly
Comment by Sue on January 18 19:08

Absolutely love it.Softens her face and makes her look younger.
Comment by Suzanne on January 18 19:59

Looooooooooooove it! GORGEOUS!
Comment by Lisa on January 18 23:37

she is absouluty the best always stunning ! love her

Comment by nano on January 19 01:07

Lisa, it's not the fringe what makes her look younger. It's the botox.
Comment by Ana on January 19 14:03

I love her fringe.
It would work if it was a little shorter and cut choppier too.
Comment by SUZY on January 19 14:54

GrEaT, I did the same (to hide my frown lines) however as it kept sticking up etc I have decided to let it grow out.
As she has a stylist I am sure she will look gorg all the time xx
Comment by eddengenes on January 21 13:58

Comment by ella on January 22 11:09

I don't like it, it reminds me of the look her ex husband's girlfriend has.
