Nicole Kidman's bizarre make-up malfunction

She's known for her picture-perfect red carpet ambience, elegant style and immaculate beauty, so we couldn't help but be shocked to see Nicole Kidman on the Nine New York premiere red carpet with strange white powder covering her face.

Forget wardrobe malfunction, this make-up malfunction saw the Oscar winner face the cameras with visible rings of white underneath her eyes, and what appeared to be an overly powdered nose. 

Perhaps a concealer shade gone wrong, all we can say is we predict some poor make-up artist will be looking for a new job today. Not a good look!

Just looks like someone's used Touche Eclat rather than concealer in the wrong places, so too much reflection from the camera flash.

It looks like she chose a particularly non absorbent brand of sun cream! Who would let her go out like that?

Why didn't ANYONE say anything?

Did she go to the premiere ALONE? Where was her husband? I would imagine she will not be best pleased with a few people today!!!!!

Still you can only blame yourself really Nic, should have used a mirror, all the money in the world and you don't have a compact? Now we know what shes getting for christmas ha ha

Oh dear, it looks like she dipped her face in a barrel of flour. Sadly not a good look. But on the up side, she could always get a job as a Johnson's baby powder tester. And what's with the weird lip lump? She probably looked in a mirror, saw the strange make up, passed out and on the way to the floor, whacked her lip on Keith's cowboy boots!

Bless her! It's nice to know that even the uber-famous get it wrong sometimes. Perhaps she put her makeup on in bad lighting conditions. Could be a new look for 2010?

I'm guessing it's caused by a combination of light reflecting concealer and a camera flash. I'm sure she looked amazing in the flesh.
