Gap launches first signature perfume
By Eleanor Young on Monday 19 October 2009
Gap today launches its first ever women's signature scent, Close.
A sparkling mixture of fresh almond blossom, salty citrus accord and classic spring flowers, the light fragrance creates a subtle, fresh-from-the-shower scent.
Gap's EVP Patrick Robinson said he wanted to create a fragrance to enhance the natural beauty of a woman's own skin, with a hint of feminine florals to last all day long. ‘It had to be sexy, sensual and beautiful', he said of the scent, 'that was most important thing to me'.
Created by world-renowned fragrance house Givaudan, Close uses natural jasmine extract and sustainable vanilla from Laos, so this gorgeous scent is as good for the environment as it is your mood!
Plus, it's all wrapped up in a milky, opalescent bottle that wouldlook stylish on any dressing table - a definite beauty must-have.
Close hits stores nationwide today, priced at just £5.
