Peaches copies Cheryl's redhead locks

Trust Peaches Geldof to be the first celebrity to jump on the Cheryl Cole redhead bandwagon.

Less than a week after the X Factor beauty debuted her new cherry hued locks, Peaches traded in her blonde tresses for a bright plum shade, almost identical to Mrs Cole's.

Using her Twitter page to show off her new 'do, the socialite told the world, 'I just dyed my hair dark purple.'

But Peaches isn't the only one reaching for the bottle. Asda reported a 22% rise in sales of red hair dye, in the wake of Cheryl showing off her newly coloured mane.

Anna Coote, Asda Health & Beauty Manager, commented, 'Cheryl Cole’s fashion and beauty regime regularly turns heads but now shoppers are flocking into store for a quick fashion fix with a packet of hair dye. Cheryl’s new colour could be the new 'Rachel' or 'Posh Bob' for 2009.'

Oh for gods sake, just because peaches dyed her hair red it doesn't mean she's copying cheryl cole! not everybody worships her !!!!

I agree with S. I love Cheryl Cole, but I'm not dying my hair red! & if Peaches says she's dyed her 'dark purple', then that's not red, is it; therefore she's not hopping on the bandwagon - she's dyed her hair.
