Want to get the Girls Aloud look? Well Cheryl, Sarah and co have just made it even easier, with the launch of their own collection of false eyelashes.

Created with Eylure, the Bambi style falsies are on sale in Superdrug now for just £5, with a pair designed by every girl.

Want the Nadine look? Well, you'll get a 'full and layered' lash, 'with a really natural feel,' the singer describes of her signature design. While for Kimberley it's all about, 'great length and texture.'

But it's not only the Girls who are getting in on the lash action. The Guardian reports that the beauty industry has seen a boom in false eyelashes sales, with Tesco seeing a 90% soar, and Selfridges reporting a 30% rise.

Speaking to the paper Mark Tyldesley, health and beauty director of Tesco, attributes the trend to the massive popularity of a certain Mrs Cole: 'August last year, when her profile on X Factor started to rise, is exactly when the trend really took off.'

Commenting on the trend, marie claire's acting beauty and style director, Lisa Oxenham explained, 'There's a huge trend at the moment of looking naturally glamorous and enhancing what you have without looking over the top. Fake tan looks more realistic and lashes look fuller and longer. Even though lashes look natural they create a completely different look to the face – they open up the eyes to make them appear wider, or a few lashes at the outer corners give more of a sex kitten almond shape that's incredibly seductive.'

Lisa added, 'Falsies have improved 10 fold in the past two years – they're easier to apply and they look more realistic – so perhaps this has spurred on then trend.'
