PICS: Katie Holmes gets new hair!

What a difference a day makes! After touching down in Tokyo with her signature bob as short as ever, Katie Holmes stepped out last night with luscious new long locks.

Accompanying husband Tom Cruise to the Japanese premiere of WWII flick Valkyrie, all eyes were on the glowing actress, and her gorgeous glossy new 'do.

Katie first chopped off her locks into a slick boy crop back in the summer of 2007, and has stuck to cropped styles ever since. And though short 'dos have suited the star, we love the new longer look.

Wowing on the red carpet, Mrs Cruise looked radiant in a two-tone dress, with on-trend vibrant red and purple colour block panels. She completed her look with a ravishing raspberry pout, and smoky bronzed eyes.

The couple and their daughter, Suri, touched down in Tokyo earlier this week to scenes of mass hysteria, as fans clambered for a peek at the world's most famous family.
