Ever since Keira Knightley took her seat on the Chanel couture front row last week, we have had some serious hair envy – specifically for that super-chic straight, blunt fringe.

But Keira's not the only star getting fringe benefits. Bangs are back on the A-list radar, the blunter the better with a host of stylish starlets opting for the cut.

Lily Allen has swapped her messy bob for sleeker extensions, and a blunt fringe to match. The perfect compliment to her newfound penchant for Chanel, the look screams sophistication.

Completing her post-baby makeover, Jessica Alba debuted a neat bob and über-classy fringe last month, while fellow new Hollywood mum, Nicole Richie, recently styled her trademark blonde tresses into a boho centre parting, and soft straight fringe.

Cementing her status of one of Britain's' most fashionable exports, Daisy Lowe has been rocking the look for months, mussing up her blunt bangs for an edgier take on the chic style.

Keira just doesn't suit a heavy fringe. Not a good look! She should grow it out pronto.
