How to get into ...

Has SJP gone under the knife?

Marie Claire News: Sarah Jessica Parker

Has Sarah Jessica Parker gone under the knife and had her trademark mole removed?

Although the Sex and the City star has long argued that she would avoid the cosmetic surgeon's knife at all costs, it appears that the distinctive bump on her chin has disappeared.

The mole was apparent during the SATC promotional trail, but at a New York charity event this week it appeared to have vanished.

Speaking to The Daily Mail, her publicist denied that the actress had made a trip to the plastic surgeon, stating 'Nothing has been removed.'

However, a source close to the actress revealed to the paper, 'I don't know when exactly she had it done but she has definitely had a procedure. She's kept it really quiet though.'

Big deal? It's a mole, hardly a full face lift, boob job, tummy tuck and bum lift is it?

Loads of people get moles removed - not for vanity reasons, but to be on the safe side health-wise.

Moles can be problematical, especially in the sun and when you are getting older. It may not have been a vanity thing at all - perhaps she had to have it removed for health reasons. If that's the case then I just hope she's OK.

Victoria Butler: Exactly! And you know what? Even if it *was* a face lift, boob job, tummy tuck or bum lift (wait. SJP has a bum to lift? :P), or combination thereof - big deal!

SJP is a woman whom despite unconventional, uh, looks, often manages to look beautiful as her inner sense of confidence shines through. Good on her if she's had her mole removed. Likewise, good on her if she hasn't.

What's the point in denying she's had it removed as it's obviously disappeared, what are we to assume, that aliens have stolen it?
