The 2.49 cream wowing women
The latest sell-out beauty product is not an expensive designer face cream, but a £2.49 nappy cream from Waitrose.
The new must-have hasn't even been marketed for the face; it is Baby Bottom Butter, a Waitrose own-brand product.
The natural nappy cream has been flying off the shelves after winning rave reviews on parenting site www.mumsnet.com, with yummy mummies naming it a miracle product when used on the face.
The reviews have sparked a rush for the butter, and it has been sold out from the supermarket's shelves around the country. Waitrose guarantee that more stock is quickly on its way.
Waitrose baby care buyer Jo Maclaine comments, 'Our Baby Bottom Butter is selling as fast as we can stock our shelves! It's fantastic that our natural baby toiletries have triggered such an overwhelming response from mums. It seems that the botty butter gives softer cheeks wherever they are!'
The product has certainly won unanimous recommendations on the marieclaire.co.uk desk, where it was agreed that the olive oil formula left skin super-smooth.

Julie is a long way away, the states! what about Scotland? just a hop skip and a jump? We have a waitrose in Edinburgh but unless you live within the postcode delivery area it's a ' no go' C'mon Waitrose set up something for the ladies in Scotland that are dying to get their hands on a jar of the wonder cream. How can we get this product here without having to
pay £20 plus on ebay.Would anyone in England oblige and I would send them the money first? Help! And yes, you have guessed I am vain and will always try ' hope in a jar' especially at this price. great! this will give the big boys a run for their money. Not before time, agree?

Would Julie's marvelous product be Olive Oil by any chance?
The Aldi cream sold out but is now back on the shelves so hopefully the Waitrose one will be soon and we can all try it out!

I have my own secret face cream, and it only costs £2.99 and is 100% natural it doesnt even have colours or preservatives it is hrmles if eaten and I can also clean my stainless steel worktops with it, it nourishes pine and wood it also brings my leather horse riding boots up like new while nourishing them and also is fab in the bath, as a massage oil with added essential oils it is the best thing since sliced bread, I have used it on my hair as a defrizzer my feet are always soft, bet you would all like to know what it is... but I dont want it to sell out maybe I will look into buying a pallet full befor I let you know what it is lol!
