Demi's bizarre beauty secret

Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore

Demi Moore has revealed the secret to her youthful appearance: letting leeches suck her blood.

The 45-year-old star told talk show host David Letterman that she first sampled the treatment in Austria as part of a detox programme.

'I was in Austria doing a cleanse and part of the treatment was leech therapy. These aren't just swamp leeches though - we are talking about highly trained medical leeches,' she told Letterman.

The therapy involves shaving the skin, and then immersing yourself in turpentine, the leeches are then applied on the skin to suck on your blood.

Moore added: 'They have a little enzyme that when they are biting down in you it gets released in your blood and generally you bleed for quite a bit - and your health is optimised. It detoxifies your blood - I'm feeling very detoxified right now.'

After explaining the therapy, the actress revealed that she has seen great results from the treatment, and will be returning for further sessions. 'It crawls in and you feel it bite down on you and you want to go, 'You b*****d'. Then you relax and work on your breathing just to kind of relax. You first feel worse then you feel better. But I'm going back - I only got four leeches and I feel a bit cheated.'

rather than using leeches she could have visited her lawyer, I'm sure they would be more than happy to suck the blood out of her.

Highly trained medical leeches, huh. A leech by any other name Demi is still a leech. Try water!

If you want to lose blood, donate it to a blood bank where at least someone get some good out of it and you don't have to pay, some blood banks even pay you!
