The new must-have hair trend

Following years relegated to the style doldrums, the perm is back, and quickly replacing the fringe as the new celebrity must have.
Girls Aloud's Sarah Harding stepped out last week, debuting a new curly style, while Janet Jackson has kicked off the promotional trail for her new album sporting wavy locks.
And it appears that the public is quickly following suit. Sales of DIY perm kits have grown by 50% in the previous year, Superdrug has reported, with the chain selling more in one week that in the whole of February 2006.
Along with perms, eighties style blue make-up has also seen a surge in sales, as have hair crimpers, which were used to create the wavy locks at this season's Luella catwalk show.
Top Brighton stylist Oliver Blackaby of Into Hair salon commented, 'Women are definitely asking for perms again - after years of sleek straight looks.'
He added, 'There are lots of new perms available including semi-permanent ones which give volume, movement and definition - without having to commit to the curl. These perms also use different sized rods for varying sized curls for a more modern look.'

My hair is naturally curly but not nice hang lovely curls they are the type that go off in a million directions and i actually look insane if i leave my hair natural . Kind of like Einsteins barnet . So i straighten it mostly , then most days leave the house and after 30 seconds of dew i have a parson's comb over ..So great the perm is back in i might have another go at scrunching my hair and see how we get on . .. x
