Fergie signs up to MAC
Fergie is the latest celebrity face of MAC's Viva Glam campaign.
The Black Eyed Peas star joins a long list of stars that have featured in advertisements for the brand, including Dita Von Teese, Christina Aguilera and Pamela Anderson. She has also has created her own lipstick shade for the cosmetics brand, the VI Lipglass, which will go on sale from March.
On her new MAC lip colour, Fergie commented, 'I went through about 10 shades before deciding on this one. It is a pink-tinged mauve that’s very soft and will look good on a lot of different skin tones — it’s the universal easy colour to wear.'
The Viva Glam campaign raises money every year for HIV/Aids research, with proceeds from all sales of the lipglass going to charity.
Fergie added, 'MAC picks people like RuPaul, Mary J. Blige — people that are a little controversial and aren’t afraid to speak their minds. I’m very proud to be a part of it.'
