Beautiful women are happy to date ugly boyfriends because, subconsciously, they believe they'll still have good-looking babies, claim scientists.

However, less attractive women deliberately seek handsome partners to give their offspring a head start in the looks department.

The new findings go against long-held beliefs that attractive people are only attracted to members of the opposite sex who are similarly good-looking.

The study, which took place in Poland, judged attractiveness in women on their hip-to-waist ratio (a moderate ratio being deemed most alluring).

'It can be hypothesized that women with higher waist-to-hip ratio, ie less attractive ones, may more intensively "hunt for genes" related to attractiveness to increase their offspring's chance to be more attractive and to have a greater chance of reproductive success,' said the researchers.

Less attractive women date handsome men because they are prepared to persue them. Good looking guys tend to be lazy and expect women to approach them and are easily flattered by female attention.

Very true, my mother is unattractive on the hip to waist ratio, and my father was a tall, thin handsome man. I know she did it to give me a head start in the looks department because she even once said to me when I showed her had bad my double chin was, "That's too bad, because I had high hopes for you." Gee, I wonder why.

Ugly women chase handsome men around and give them whatever they want. She gets pregnant and the man is somewhat stuck. The man is often tore and miserable in the relationship and have many extra marital affairs. The man keep on searching for his true love, a woman that has not manipulated him, loves jim and understands his situation, He often ends his relationship with the ugle woman, but the ugly woman does whatever it takes to hold onto him. THe beautiful woman tires of the sitationi and leaves the handsome man. The handsome man lives a life of hatred for the ugly woman but she does not care as long as she has the man.
