Calling all Knitters!
THIS DECEMBER, ORIGINS is donating £1 from every purchase of Ginger Essence Sensuous skin scent to charity Shelter. Each special Shelter bottle is dressed in its own cosy festive scarf, and Origins is calling on all knitters to help them raise money for this worthy cause, by knitting and sending in more mini-scarves.
If you are interested in helping out, then simply grab your knitting needles and follow the steps below:
1. Choose your favourite Christmas themed wool (red, green or gold) – the brighter the better and get your knitting needles ready.
2. Start by stitching across for four and then knit 40 rows down.
3. Make your scarf stand out by adding your own personal touch – with glitter, tassels, patterns etc.
4. Once your scarf is ready pop it in the post addressed to: Origins Ginger Knits, 73 Grosvenor Street, London, W1K 3BQ. (Please post your scarves as soon as they are ready and no later than 20 November 2007).
The Shelter Ginger Essence Sensuous Skin scent bottles will go on sale from 1 December, so get knitting!

Never done knitting before. It's a kind of new hobby for me, can I have a try?

Was this in the magazine? I did not come across it until the 19th Nov.

Dear Ailsa, I'm afraid this is a very old story (it was written in October 2007) so Origins is no longer looking for knitters. Best wishes, Carla
