X Factor launches own perfume
WHEN THE GOING'S good – cash in. That's seems to be the motto for the company behind the X Factor, who are creating a new perfume based on the show.
Freemantle Media have come up with another idea to get viewers to spend their cash – aside from voting every week, buying the winner's single and forking out tickets for the post-programme tour.
According to the makers ScentUps, X Factor Him and X Factor Her let wearers be 'part of the excitement and glamour of becoming a pop star'.
The male scent apparently smells of lemon, bergamot, lime, apple and pineapple while the women's has a floral aroma. Bottles will go on sale this week at the Fragrance Shop priced £12.99.
And if that wasn't enough, X Factor may introduce further branded products including sweets, toiletries and make-up.
