M.A.C’s new limited edition make-up collection is cool, flattering and just a little avant-guard – that’ll be the Daphne Guinness effect then!

Previously the face of the NARS AW10 campaign, Daphne Guinness is no newcomer to the beauty industry. And this month, the unconventional heiress launches her debut make-up line – in collaboration with M.A.C.
 
Known for their whip-up-a-storm capsule lines, M.A.C has harnessed Guinness’ dramatic elegance, channeling it into a 21-piece cosmetic collection of icy pinks, dusty mauves and earthy browns.

Despite the odd nod to the avant-guard (a pure white lipstick, for example), it’s really wearable and flattering – surprising, perhaps, since Guinness designed the colours to be, “a window into my imagination”. Now there’s a thought!
 
The limited editition Daphne Guinness collection is available now at M.A.C counters nationwide.
