Welcome to Blighty, Herbivore Botanicals

These days Instagram is responsible for the skyrocketing of many a beauty brand's popularity and fame (Glossier, here's looking at you). So naturally when they make their way across the pond and land on UK soil it causes a big stir – and currently causing said stir is Herbivore Botanicals.

While the name may not ring any bells, you'll definitely recognise Herbivore's oh-so-Instagrammable packaging, taking its lead from the minimalist trend we're currently all obsessed with.

Priding themselves on their focus on nature, the brand uses no 'filler' ingredients, meaning the products themselves are super concentrated, active formulas. And with natural and organic beauty products' popularity having soared in recent years, it's really no surprise that the products are making big waves in the beauty lover community.

The brand has a great backstory too, founded in a Seattle kitchen seven years ago by husband and wife, Julia Wills and Alex Kummerow, who wanted to create fuss-free products using the highest quality ingredients.

So, let's get down to what you really want to know – what's good? Daytime treats we love include Pink Cloud Rosewater Cream, £42, and the Rose Hibiscus Hydrating Face Mist, £14, for clear, hydrated and plump skin.

For night time, pick up their Moon Fruit Superfruit Night Treatment, £48, a skin-quenching sleep mask packed with resurfacing acids and hydrating hyaluronic acid. It's literally beauty sleep in a jar.

And we're sure you've seen at least one beauty blogger raving about the deep blue Lapis Balancing Facial Oil, £22, on Instagram, a universal skin treat that's great on combination and oily skins and is quickly establishing itself as one of the best face oils out there.

A word of warning, though; stocks are diminishing pretty rapidly, so you'd better get your act together if you're hoping to get your skincare-loving paws on some soon.

Herbivore Botanicals is available now at Space NK, both online and in store. But hurry, hurry!
