The comedienne told him where to go

Amy Schumer called out a teen fan for the inappropriate comments he posted online after she posed for a photo with him.

Schumer attended the Critic's Choice Awards on Sunday and mett Jackson Murphy, a 17-year-old movie critic, and his Dad on the red carpet.

Jackson posted a photo with Amy on Twitter shortly afterwards captioning it: 'Spent the night with Amy Schumer. Certainly not the first guy to write that.'

Amy responded by calling him out on what was clearly a jibe of extremely poor taste and fired back: 'Oh I get it. Cause I'm a whore? Glad I took a photo with you. Hi to your Dad.'

The teen 'entertainment analyst' (as he calls himself on Twitter) was quick to backtrack on his comments after a barage of criticism from Amy's fans and apologised shortly afterwards.

‘I truly apologize for the tweet I posted earlier. I'm not a comedian and it wasn't funny,’ Jackson said.

‘I truly apologize. Thought you'd like the joke. I should leave the comedy to you! Thanks for the photo. Glad you won last night!’

Luckily for the fresh-faced film lover, Schumer was gracious as ever and wrote back: ‘that's really okay honey. I just remember thinking you and your dad were sweet and it was a bummer to read that.’

Now that’s how you deal with sexist BS.

Amy is no stranger to addressing sexism and misogny in her stand-up work and on-screen. She was named the Critics’ Choice for Best Actress in a Comedy for her summer movie hit Trainwreck, in which she challenges Hollywood norms by playing a female character who is both sexually adventurous, afraid of commitment and erm, absolutely hilarious.

The actress and comedian is currently writing a film with Hunger Games star and pal Jennifer Lawrence, and judging from the way the pair are fearlessly taking on Hollywood stereotypes, we can’t wait to see what they come up with next…
