Cream claimed to reduce wrinkles in as little as one week

A new Avon face cream said to reduce the effects of ageing in a week goes on sale this week - and has a waiting list of over 60,000 people.

The ANEW Clinical Pro Line Corrector Treatment with A-F33 helps boost collagen and elastin production due to its special ingredient, giving skin a more youthful look.

Discovered in collaboration with globally renowned dermatology laboratory Neostrata, Amino-Fill 33 is an innovative molecule that deactivates critical collagen blocking in skin cells, helping to unleash untapped collagen.

Tests on 69 women aged between 35 and 59 found the treatment began to reduce the look of wrinkles and fine lines in seven days, after they used it twice a day. Some of the women who were tested said they would consider no longer having plastic surgery due to its effectiveness.

Cosmetic Dermatologist Dr Sam Bunting said: 'Avon are to be congratulated for collaborating with Neostrata to produce an affordable product that has been rigorously tested and seems to deliver the kind of results I’m unaccustomed to seeing with other mass skincare brands.

'I’m particularly excited by the development of a new ‘active’ which has great potential to work synergistically with other proven ingredients like vitamin-A derivatives and vitamin C, making this potentially one of the most exciting breakthroughs I've seen in recent years.'

The cream will go on sale this Friday at www.avonshop.co.uk
