The launch of Opening Ceremony's London pop-up store next week will include the debut of a needlepoint accessories capsule collection in partnership with experts Tucker Blair and Harding-Lane.
The collection includes hats and belts with six needlepoint designs featuring various smiley faces, a rose, eyes, an alien, and a broken heart.
Speaking to WWD, Sarah Gifford, co-founder of Harding-Lane said: 'It’s a fun way to take the idea of needlepoint, which is traditional, and give it a twist.'
Taylor Llewellyn, Tucker Blair founder, explained that the collaboration had enabled them to stretch their brand identity 'well beyond the typically preppy needlepoint belt product category' stating: 'We’re able to take our hand-stitched needlepoint construction and combine it with the amazing design eye of the Opening Ceremony team.'
The 3,000 square foot pop-up store opens on the July 19 on Covent Garden's King Street.
