For the first time, visitors are being briefed in advance on what is and isn't acceptable, with tips on race day dresses and hat etiquette.

Ladies are reminded that strapless, off the shoulder, halter neck or spaghetti strapped dresses are banned and fascinators are no longer permitted in the Royal Enclosure.
