If the summer wedding invites are pouring in and the sight of all the fashionable headgear paraded by Ascot-goers like Jasmine Guinness has inspired you, look no further than hot new hat designer Olivia Roat.

Having worked with Phillip Treacy and Noel Stewart, she's now making her name as London's hatter to the young and cool - with not a dodgy mother-of-the-bride style glittery grip in sight.

Her designs, all handmade from her studio in Chelsea, are often small but dramatic. Think fabulous vintage-style fascinators and pillboxes with twisty spirals, just like SJP's unforgettable green creation at the Sex & the City premiere.

Friendly as well as ultra-fashionable, Olivia is great at offering style advice - whether you're worried about what style will suit your face or whether your feathers should match your frock.

Her ready-to-wear collection starts at £85, or if you've got

something really special coming up, she can make you a couture piece for

£225.
