Join the pants party!
By Elle Blakeman on Friday 4 June 2010
There's nothing quite like new lingerie to lift your spirits and brighten your day, but for many living in poverty across Africa, even basic underwear is a luxury they cannot afford.
To help solve this problem, Momiji have teamed up with UK charity Knickers 4 Africa to provide underwear to people living in serious poverty.
Together they have launched the ‘Momiji Pants Party' a Twitter fundraising campaign, allowing people across the world to help the cause.
Momiji have promised to donate one pair of knickers to the charity for every two messages posted on Twitter, and ten lucky Momiji followers who tweet this message will win a momiji goodie pack too.
To do your bit and be in with a chance of winning simply visit Momiji online and tweet the message given.
Knickers 4 Africa was launched in 2007 by friends Emma Donovan and Celia Talbot after a trip to Sierra Leone where the pair realised just how much of a difference new underwear could make to people's lives there.
So far they have donated over 13,500 knickers and 6,000 bras, along with children's clothing and toys.
You can also donate directly to Knickers 4 Africa through their website.
