We've already heard rumours that Twilight directors are considering splitting the final film, Breaking Dawn, in two.

But now it's been revealed that the film's top stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner have not actually signed on for a fifth installment.
In fact the rising Hollywood hotstars have only signed an agreement for four films, and would have to renegotiate their deals if an extra flick was added.
The small cast originally agreed on four movies, and have shot to worldwide fame after the Twilight Saga was an instant success on the big screen.

Robert and Kristen were paid a reported $2 million each for the first flick, which rose to $12 million for the second after massive success at the box office.
So if Summit does decide on splitting the final film in two it could be an incredibly costly exercise.
Meanwhile, fans are still eagerly awaiting the arrival of the third of the hit films, Eclipse.

Breaking Dawn was such a huge book I fail to see how justice can be done to the story in just one movie. Also I believe that Rob, Kristen and Taylor would be on board for a 5th movie. The completion of the saga would be too important to them to miss out. They are actors of integrity.

Dito above. Needs to be two halves. The only reason they wouldn't is because of how much re-negotiated contracts would cost, however I think after the amount of money they have received (and will receive) for the Saga complete will be worth it! x

I feel there is just so much in Breaking Dawn that it must be two films otherwise they are going to have to miss out so much that is really relavant to the whole story. I think it would be a really bad move to cram the book into one

They would have to split the film because there is JUST TOO MUCH that happens in Breaking Dawn. I f they tried to cram it all into one film it would be really bad and less successful as the others.

The second of the four should have been split into two. For those that did not read the book, they can't share in the impact it had on those of us who have read it. The author is so profound in her writing that one movie would not fully represent Breaking Down. I would like to see a bulk of the book in movie four and then movie five to finish the book while rapping up a few loose ends.

Breaking Dawn should be two films. However, if the same cast does not sign on for both films, it's an exercise in futility to make them at all.

I hope they {must} do a two-part.There is a lot of content to deal with. There is a point in the book where it can be split (last paragraph pg.360). Robert, Kristen and Taylor would not disappoint us(fans). They care for what they do and I do believe that they would do a 5th,and hope they can negotiate.I also think that Robert,Kristen and Taylor would like to see the movie(s) be true to the book, and to their characters. If it becomes 1 movie it will not be true to the book and what Stephanie Meyer has made.Hopefully somehow they can work this out and create a great two-part Movie.

I think that the 4th twilight book should be put into a long film.. Having to wait for each film to go through the motions and finally release it into the cinemas is a really drawn out process.. and it means that the actors cant move on a start new projects.. that all faithful twilight fans would go and support..

i understand that the fourth book, breaking dawn, is very long and if it was just one movie it would be extremly long compare to the other films. although,if it was made into two films, fans could probably not wait for the film to come out and would all be going crazy waiting for the second part of breaking dawn.my view would be to have the last book breaking dawn to be split into two movies, because i wouldnt want the series to finish so quick and it would be more exiting to add an extra film to the colection.

i believe it should be one movie because no one wants to wait more months just to see the second part of the last movie , come on people might forget the first part and be wondering how it came to that point in the movie and that is why i believe it should only be one complete dramatic , action filled heart breakingly wounderful movie
