Every guest took home a present-filled bag worth an eye-watering $500 from the Sunday night ceremony.
Even celebs losing out on an award must have managed a smile as they picked up this year's gift bag, which featured an exclusive large Dooney & Bourke satchel for the girls and Tumi duffel bag for the men.
The gift-filled goody parcels also included a whole host of treats to keep the pampered stars feeling their best.
The lovely ladies received perfume by Calvin Klein, L'Oreal cosmetics and new book The New Secrets of Style.
Meanwhile, the men of Hollywood received aftershave and custom-designed shirt by Alexander West.
For the first time, guests gracing the stage were able to sip champagne and touch up their make-up in the exclusive Presenters Lounge, created for the Golden Globes by interior designer Kenneth Bordewick.
One of the most in-demand designers in Hollywood, Bordewick created glittering surroundings to ensure even the most A-List of stars felt at home, including a chandelier with more than 2000 crystals, and artwork worth more than $3 million. Phew!
Everyone from Ricky Gervais to Kate Hudson, and Ashton Kutcher to Amy Adams enjoyed the lovely lounge.

Do you think the celebs should be given such extravagant gift bags? Or do you think they should go without? Let us know your thoughts in the comments box below.

No I don't think they should recieve these goody bags, haven't they got enough material things.
The people who supply these products should ask you to do more competions for us, we can only hope to have anything wonderful only if we enter the competions.
