Beyonce and Jay-Z top richest couples list

Beyonce and Jay-Z have topped the Forbes magazine Hollywood couples rich list for the second year running, making them Tinseltown's top-earning showbiz pairing.

The power couple, whose combined earnings between June 2008 and June 2009 totalled £75.1m, raked in more than the likes of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie and David and Victoria Beckham.


After a big year that saw her releasing an album, touring and starring in and co-producing the movie Obsessed, Beyonce made the lion's share, amassing a huge £53.9m.

The magazine also took into account the couple's endorsements, consulting agents, managers, producers and lawyers to determine their fortune.

Indiana Jones star Harrison Ford and his actress wife Calista Flockhart came second on the list, but their shared £52.5m failed to top Beyonce's earnings alone. Lagging behind in third place were Brad and Angelina, ranked third with £34.1m, and in fourth place Will and Jada Pinkett Smith (£29.6m)
