Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart might be doing everything they can to keep their romance under wraps, but they're not doing very well.

The Twilight stars were caught on a 'secret date' in Venice Beach last Wednesday, with dinner and dancing on the menu.

Spies spotted R-Patz and his co-star at Gjelina restaurant, both dressed down in casual clothes, and then later again at a nearby club.

They 'seemed really just into hanging together', an onlooker told E! Online.

However, Kristen wasn't Pattinson's only date of the evening, he also spent time with Katy Perry, who drove him back to his hotel after the pair hung out together at another club in the area.

Katy didn't stop for long in the States though, as she had an important date with boyfriend Russell Brand in the UK, to watch his beloved football team West Ham take on Chelsea.

In a fur-trimmed parka, and signature West Ham scarf, Katy watched the team draw 1-1 with their Premier League rivals.

Cheryl Cole was also at the game, cheering on husband Ashley Cole for Chelsea and, like Katy, posting photos of the action on her Twitter page as the game progressed.

I hope Rob takes Kristen back to London with him and has some real time together and get away from all the hates back in HW .so Rob take her away from all the cazry fan and just love her cause she will love to the end of time and she I the kind of girl you take home to mum and dad, So do it and sown her you do want to be with her,befor it's to L***? I hope they manage to get some peace and quiet together at Christmas. Whether they're a couple or not, they just deserve some normal time!

This is a repeat but Wish they were together! He should take her to England with his family or a hotel. If he does not I know they are really not together. Love them... So Sad.
