Ethical and fabulous - hot new online label Kate Tailyour launches
By Jess Wood on Monday 7 December 2009
The concept of 'provenance' doesn't just apply to fine wines and antiques, you know...
Hot new ethical label Kate Tailyour has just launched her website - and we love the function which tells you the 'story' behind each piece - Tailyour aims for total transparency, telling you where each piece was made and why it's ethical.
Her collection is entirely produced in the UK, and incorporates fairtrade cottons and organic silks from India and Nepal. But while her pieces have serious green credentials, they're also (most importantly) seriously stylish.
The range consists of cool separates with quirky details aplenty - from sporty zip details which allow you to alter your sleeve widths to tie fronts which mean you can finish your outfit with a boyish knot or a glam bow.
We're particularly nuts about this buttercup yellow slouchy knit, £250, made of wool from a mill in the Yorkshire Pennines.
