Who wore it best? Cheryl Cole vs Sienna Miller: Marios Schwab red dresses

Cheryl Cole's X Factor wardrobe has been a veritable fashion fest of who wore it best moments - we had the Penelope Cruz Oscar dress, Emma Roberts' Costume Institute Gala frock, and then Beyonce tapped Mrs C's style for the MTV Awards - but the latest incarnation comes courtesy of Sienna Miller.

Following the sartorial furore that followed the Girls Aloud's controversial David Koma dress, she debuted a more demure take on styling for the Sunday's show, with a chic red Marios Schwab shift.

But she wasn't the first to snap up the elegant design. A full six months before, Ms Miller chose the scarlet stunner for a screening of flick, The Mysteries of Pittsburg.

And while both Brit beauties matched in the style stakes, they each gave the frock they're own signature spin.

For la Cole, this meant leaving those picture-perfect pins bare, slipping into nude leg-lengthening Brian Atwood platforms, and wearing that famous mane curly and loose.

Sienna, meanwhile, wore her hair high in a messy chignon, added black opaques and peep-toes and matched her dress to her pout, with a slick of ruby red lipstick.

I think Sienna just clinches it - the matching red lippy is the perfect finishing touch!

I'm going to have to go with Cheryl.. But only just! The dress looks better without the tights, and I prefer the crystal embellishment on CC's version. It makes it just that bit more glam.

Well they both look good..Sienna has made it great with the black tights tho the shoes are a size too big by the look of it...Cheryl has done her norm and gone for the girly 60s look...tho I think red shoes would have clinched it. Whatever..way better look than the metalmess last week

Cheryl wins. Gorgeous dress that looks fab on her. Legs need to be seen in a dress like that so the opaques were unnecessary and don't work. The look is too heavy from Sienna and not balanced and the red lips don't help. I love Cheryl's hair and make up and she looks great. I don't like her shoes but from the ankles up she's perfection and makes that dress her own. Like the sparkly addition too!

I think Cheryl looks better in this dress,sienna just looks to harsh whereas Cheryl has teamed this dress well with her long curly hair and modest tan.

Cheryl wins! I love her hair like that - it really suits her AND the dress! Sienna's shoes look too big, and I absolutley adore the sparkly addition on Cheryl's.(Dress, not shoes.)Sienna's lippy is far too bright, but then I've never liked over-the-top conspicuous make-up. I've never actually heard of Sienna Miller, and Cheryl is my favourite popstar ever, so maybe I'm a bit biased. ; )

P.S. Cheryl looks much taller than she actually is - she's 5ft 3, which is the same height as me! LOL
