Take That's Mark Owen ties the knot
By Louise O'Connell on Monday 9 November 2009
In a small, private ceremony in Cawdor Church in the Scottish Highlands, Take That's Mark Owen married long-term girlfriend Emma Ferguson this weekend.
Wearing a purple velvet morning suit and top hat, Mark waved at fans outside the church and showed off his new wedding ring. Fans and well-wishers cheered Mark at the gate when he arrived but booed later when the couple refused to pose for photos.

Mark's bride, Emma Ferguson, wore a long, white, beaded, V-neck 1920s gown and embroidered vintage veil. Her bridesmaids were also in white 1920s-style beaded dresses.
Emma, an actress, 33, and Mark 37, have been engaged since 2006 and have two children together, three-year-old Elwood Jack and one-year-old Willow Rose.
Band members Gary Barlow, Jason Orange and Howard Donald flew to Scotland on a 17-seater Lear jet to see their friend tie the knot.
The wedding reception was held at the nearby ancient Cawdor Castle. Robbie Williams was expected to fly in for the reception by private jet. And Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow were also rumoured to be at the wedding reception.

Why boo them? It's their day and no one should have spoiled it for them. I wouldn;t have wanted strangers taking pics of me on my wedding day. Too many people will be taking pics to make a quick buck out of them. Good on you Mark and Emma. Hope you'll have a long and happy marriage.
