New bra 'can hide wrinkles'
By Lucy Halfhead on Friday 6 November 2009
A dutch inventor has designed a bra that can reportedly solve the problem of wrinkles appearing in cleavage among older women.
Dutch inventor Rachel De Boer, 48, said she started to notice unsightly folds in her own skin aged 30 after years in the sun as an air hostess.
The bra, called La Decollette, is now being sold in more than 100 lingerie shops in the Netherlands. It works by keeping the breasts apart during sleep, hence reducing the amount the skin wrinkles around the chest. Miss De Boer claims even sun-damaged or older skin can benefit from the design.
There are plenty of sexy bras out there and this is not a sexy bra, but it can help you get your sexy cleavage back,' she told the Telegraph.
'I spent many happy years as an air hostess travelling the world and obviously enjoying the sunshine and beaches. In those days we were not as aware of how much damage this can do to the skin and I was only in my early 30s when I was horrified to see my skin wrinkling.'
'I was afraid to show my cleavage and none of the creams and treatments I tried seemed to help.'
She noticed a different after a friend suggested she slept with a cushion between her breasts. Miss De Boer, who according to the Telegraph, is a 34C, said she hoped her product would hit the British High Street as soon as possible.
