Jake Gyllenhaal in Prince of Persia - Celebrity News - Marie Claire

Eye candy alert! Check out the gorgeous Jake Gyllenhaal in this sneak preview of the trailer for his new action flick, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time.

The trailer sees the actor pulling out some pretty serious stunts, swordplay and airbound acrobatics in the film, in which he stars as the title role.

The role marks a noticeable change in direction for Jake, who usually sticks to the more serious and sombre films, as opposed to playing the daring action hero.

Mr Gyllenhaal, who's currently dating Reese Witherspoon (lucky girl!), stars in the Disney fantasy film alongside Bond girl Gemma Arterton, and opposite Ben Kingsley - who plays his villainous nemisis.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is set for release in cinemas nationwide in May 2010.

I can not wait!!

What difference does it make if hes gay or not? HES HOT! Just appreciate the hotness and let people live in blissful ignorance. I like him and Reese as a couple.

Either way, cant wait for this film to come out.

Jake and Reese were in Pittsburgh together this weekend and that seems a bit over committed to promote a "fauxmance". No Paparazzi, no fanfare... just looked like they were having fun. Why are people so invested in Jake being gay? Sure didn't look like it to me.
