Alexandra Burke outselling Robbie two-to-one

In one of the most hotly contested chart battles of the year, Alexandra Burke is set to race to the number one spot this Sunday, outselling rival Robbie Williams by a massive two to one.

The Marie Claire cover girl's new single, Bad Boys, hit the shelves this week, and was expected to face tough competition from Williams' Bodies, the first single from comeback album Reality Killed The Video Star.

But Ms Burke looks set to race away with the top spot. Bad Boys sold 90,000 copies on Monday alone, The Sun reports, while Robbie sold less than half that figure, at 40,000.

Not a paltry sum, such sales would usually send Williams straight to number one, but Alex's Monday figures alone made her single the best-selling of the year.
