George Michael has split up from his long-term partner Kenny Goss after 13 years together.

Kenny reportedly ended the relationship last December, but the couple kept their break-up a secret.

George's arrest on Hampstead Heath last year was said to be the final straw for Kenny, 50.

George, 46, was charged with drug possession after his arrest in the public toilets.

'Kenny had given George many chances. But after the Hampstead Heath incident, he said he couldn't take any more,' a friend close to the couple told The Mirror.

'Despite George saying they had an open relationship, Kenny never agreed with George's urges to cruise for other men, or with his excessive use of cannabis.'

Although the couple had split up, they remained partners in their art gallery in Dallas.

George is said to have taken the break-up very badly and turned into 'a hermit' at his north London home.

He postponed all work commitments and would spend days smoking cannabis and playing computer games, reports the paper.

Now friends are believed to be concerned over the Wham! star's irrational behaviour in the wake of the split.

'George has all these ideas about going back on the road, but no one knows if his mind will take it,' says the source.

think you'l find they havent split but he does have a dvd out in dec so thanks for the free publicity
