Michelle Obama hits the Vatican in style

Michelle Obama showed why she's First Lady of fashion during a trip to the Vatican last week, sporting an outfit that was on-message in more ways than one.

Arriving in Rome to meet Pope Benedict XVI, Mrs O wore a perfectly diplomatic cocktail of American and Italian brands.

She managed to fly the flag for the American fashion industry with a black wool coat by US designer Michael Kors, while nodding to her Italian hosts with a black organza bow top, black skirt and a Sicilian-widow worthy black silk veil, all by quintessentially Italian brand Moschino.

Honestly, what did we fashion girls talk about before she came along?

Sista and I have agreed that someone must have had one too many Long Island Iced teas if they think looks absolutely wonderful...Poppy Cock!! She is wearing a repeat of that "God awful" blouse she wore in white, her skirt is too tight and she is wearing that belt again....
