Surely the most stylish show since Sex and the City, Gossip Girl has won the hearts of fashionistas worldwide, and if the latest shots from the set are anything to go by, sartorially, it just keeps getting better and better.

Back on location for the third series, and though the characters may have ditched their school uniforms at the end of the second season, the signature styling we've come to love is still all present and correct.

For Blake Lively's Serena Van Der Woodsen, this means the ultimate in boho chic. She hit the set in a billowing maxidress, bejewelled sandals and her locks loose and long.

In comparison, her on-screen BFF, Leighton Meester's Blair Waldorf, is prim and proper as ever.

A gold brocade shift and lace-up heels were classic Queen B, while for another scene she donned a loose printed blouse, and coordinating chartreuse yellow shorts.

Giving us instant style envy, Jessica Szohr's Vanessa may be the show's thrift store fashionista, but her eclectic style is seriously enviable. Ethnic colour pop shorts, a beaded top and tan heels combined for perfect NY downtime summer get-up, while a miss-match Eighties-style mini and vest sent her straight to the top of the fashion charts.

As for the show's youngest style star, Taylor Momen's Jenny continues on a rock chick vibe, spotted in high waisted shorts and braces over a stripy tee. Killer heels, a choppy peroxide hairdo and a slick of statement berry red lipstick completed her look.
