Christy Turlington has been unveiled as the gorgeous new face of YSL.

The supermodel takes over from Claudia Schiffer, who represented the fashion house in its spring/summer adverts.

The 40-year-old mother-of-two last appeared as the face of YSL five years ago, but, if it's possible, looks even better this time round in pictures taken by photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin.

The adverts for YSL's sleek and chic autumn/winter line will appear in glossy fashion magazines from later this month, and if this picture can't persuade you to buy into the new collection, nothing can.
