MTV Movie Awards' hottest style stars

Stylistically, the sky was the limit at last night's MTV Movie Awards, as Hollywood's hottest A-listers stepped out in some seriously teeny tiny hemlines.

Thigh-skimming minidresses ruled the red carpet, and leading the pack was our very own Sienna Miller.

Wearing a jade green glittering minidress from her Twenty8Twelve collection, the Brit actress reminded us all of her style icon status, and looked radiant with her signature blonde locks tumbling and a pair of vertiginous metallic heels elongating her picture-perfect pins.

Joining the short and sweet line-up, Megan Fox sizzled in a black and gold brocade bandeau dress by Dolce & Gabbana, while strapless minis also provided style statements for Paris Hilton, Taraji P. Henson, Lauren Conrad and Terri Seymour.

Perhaps our favourite, Leighton Meester may have adopted a soaring hemline, but her bodycon Emilio De La Morena cut-out dress, teamed with Brian Atwood purple suede ankle boots raced ahead as the most fashion-forward look of the bunch.

Little blue booties also brought a colour pop to Cameron Diaz's MTV get-up. Usually the first to don a miniscule frock, the A-lister instead kept things casual, in J Brand jeans, a printed top and suede boots.

Fine for a spot of down-time dressing perhaps, but we can't deny our disappointment - Ms Diaz usually rocks the minidress trend.

Colour wise, pretty in pink shades show no sign of disappearing any time soon. Paris Hilton chose a ruffled short and sweet prom dress in a peachy hue, while Miley Cyrus tried grown-up chic in a tea rose Moschino Cheap and Chic nude silk shift.

Moving through the colour spectrum, Vanessa Hudgens proved her fashion credentials, and wowed in a tangerine Max Azria draped plunging gown. Simply gorgeous, the High School Musical beauty is fast emerging as a style star to watch.
