Jade finally lost her battle with cancer on Mothers Day and passed away in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Now plans are being discussed to turn the tale of the ordinary girl from Bermondsey who became a reality TV sensation, into a feature-length biopic.

Danny Hayward, a friend of Jade’s and one of the trustees of the fund set up to look after the money for her two sons, told The Times that a film is in the pipeline.

'Her story lends itself to a biographical film. She’s captured the mood of the nation, he says.

'We’re talking about it and we welcome approaches. We want it to tap into raising awareness of cervical cancer.'

Nick Love, the British director who worked on the 2004 film The Football Factory – a tale of football hooliganism – is believed to be the favourite to direct the tale of Jade’s life.

Tributes for the reality TV star have poured in since her death. Prime Minister Gordon Brown called her a 'courageous woman', while Jade's old 'rival' Katie Price, also paid tribute to the star and said Jade had 'opened a lot of eyes' to the risk of cervical cancer.

Plans for Jade’s funeral have also been revealed. The ceremony will take place on Saturday 4 April at a church near her home – but the event will not be televised.

The funeral procession will pass though Loughton, near Jade’s home in Upshire, Essex, before heading to St John's Baptist Church in Buckhurst Hill.

Jade has asked to be buried at Epping Forest Burial Park in North Weald.

Although the funeral service will be broadcast on large TV screens outside the church, the event will not be seen on live television.

'There is a general consensus that that will not happen,' a friend of Jade’s told The Times.

Max Clifford, Jade's publicist, said the event would be a 'celebration' of her life.

'Jade wanted a celebration of her life. It will be very much a Jade Goody Production with Jade doing her own thing her own way,' he said.

But there are fears that her husband, Jack Tweed, may not be able to attend the funeral.

Jack, 21, is due in court on the Thursday for sentencing after he was found guilty of assaulting a taxi driver last month.

He has been wearing an electronic tag, but had his curfew lifted so he could spend his wedding night with Jade.

It is hoped that even if he is given a jail sentence, he will be allowed to attend the funeral of his wife of four weeks.

The circus never ends, do we really need a hollywood movie of Jade's life who lived it in full view of the puplic and we've had it in our faces from the start. What could there possibly be that we haven't already been exposed to. I'm really over this. Of course it's a very sad end to a short life but that's not the issue here. The next thing they'll be doing is auditioning live for the role of Jade in the movie. 'LOOKING FORWARD TO THAT'

A film about Jade. Ridiculous !! Is this all we have to think about? RIP Jade, but lets now move on please.

The awareness of cancer in young people is a positive thing to arise from Jade's death. But lets not cannonise her. She was an unfortunate young woman - not Mother Theresa.
