Marie Claire News: Kate Middleton and Prince William

Is Kate Middleton setting her sights on a Stateside fashion move?

The Daily Express claims that Prince William's girlfriend has been seeking advice from Anna Wintour and Tom Ford, in the hope of landing a stylish job at a U.S. fashion house.

Middleton's reportedly considering the move for while her royal beau is away completing his RAF pilot training.

A source revealed to the paper, 'Until recently Kate would not have had any great desire to work in the U.S, but things have changed.

'She's got a really encouraging mentor in Anna Wintour who has told her a few months experience learning about fashion in New York would be great for her.'

Middleton has dabbled in the fashion industry in the past, working as an accessories buyer for Jigsaw. She left the role two years ago to work for her parent's company, Party Pieces.

The source added, 'With William doing his own thing, she too wants to expand her horizons and this is the time to do it, when she has few other responsibilities.'
