Beyonce has revealed the song she’ll serenade the Obamas with in their first dance as America’s first couple: the Etta James classic, At Last.

Beyonce portrayed the legendary Blues singer in a recent biopic, and sang the song in that movie.

Now she will sing it to Barack and Michelle Obama at the Neigbourhood Ball on Tuesday night.

Beyonce said in a statement: ‘I am so honoured that I will be performing for President Obama and the first lady.

'To sing At Last while they have their first dance is a dream come true. I could not be more honoured and excited that they have asked me to be part of this moment in history.’

The singing sensation and her music mogul hubby Jay-Z were active campaigners for Obama during the run-up to the election.
