Jessica Alba goes for the bob

Jessica Alba has joined the Hollywood bob brigade, chopping off her wispy locks into a sleek mid-length cut and blunt fringe.

The 27-year-old Fantastic Four actress debuted her chic new look yesterday, much to the pleasure of husband Cash Warren, who beamed as he spotted her emerge from the salon.

The style spruce comes seven-months after Alba gave birth to her first daughter, Honor Marie. She quickly regained her pre-baby figure, with a little help from a low-fat, low-carb diet, as well as a routine of core exercises, cardio and

circuit training.

Her new über-classy do sees her join the ranks of Gwyneth Paltrow, Liv Tyler, Anne Hathaway and Reese Witherspoon, who have all ditched their long locks for modern, mid-length bobs.
