She may not shout about her charity contributions but Jennifer Aniston certainly does her bit as a famous face in the limelight; this time for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in America.

The ex-Friends star has been a staunch supporter of the pediatric treatment and research facility in the States for some time and has chosen to use her celeb status to promote the charity’s cause, by featuring in a new advert for the hospital.

The actress features in the advertisement alongside Ellie, a young girl suffering with a tumour. In her true girl-next-door manner, Jen talks to camera with her arms wrapped round Ellie saying: ‘Every night Ellie’s mum whispered in her sleeping daughter’s ear. She said, "Go away tumour, go away."'

She continues: ‘And to help that tumour go away her parents turned to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital where our discoveries have doubled Ellie’s chance of survival.’
