Stella McCartney gets festive

Stella McCartney called on her famous friends and family last night, to get in the festive mood as she switched on the Christmas lights at her Bruton Street store.

With Kate Moss in the audience, and dad Paul performing live, the glittering bash saw the ex-Beatle team up with Peter Kay, to switch on the store's sparkling lights.

Dressed as his Britain’s Got the Pop Factor alter ego Geraldine McQueen, Kay spent the evening in full drag, and also undertook the honour of singing a duet alongside Mr McCartney.


The evening was a real family affair, with Moss arriving with her six-year-old daughter Lila Grace in tow, as well as on-again boyfriend Jamie Hince.

Hince got tongues wagging, looking slightly worse for wear, with a black eye and scratches on his face.

Although his injuries remained a mystery, the tumultuous couple looked well and truly back on, as they continued the evening at East London's Shoreditch House, partying into the early hours.
