Katie Holmes sultry return to TV
After a spell away from the cameras, Katie Holmes's return to TV looks set to be a memorable one.
The 29-year-old actress, who started her career on TV's Dawson's Creek, will return to US TV screens, in an all-singing, all-dancing guest-spot on hit show Eli Stone.
Holmes plays the role of a non-profit attorney in the comedy-drama, alongside Brit actor Jonny Lee Miller, as a lawyer who suffers from a brain aneurysm, which causes him to have hallucinations.
In one of these hallucinatory scenes, Holmes was required to don her tap shoes, and show off her figure in a skin-tight black leotard, for a musical number reminiscent of Chicago.
Speaking to People magazine, co-star Matt Letscher revealed, 'She does a song-and-dance number that is the best one we've ever done. We've done tons of (musical numbers), and she was just phenomenal.'
Letscher also revealed that Katie could be back for further episodes, commenting, 'They've left it open. I think she a had a great time, which made it easier. Everyone was welcoming and it couldn't have worked out better.'
The actress is currently in New York, preparing for her first Broadway role, in a production of All my Sons.
